How do I move to New Zealand?

To move to New Zealand under a work visa, you will need a valid job offer from an Accredited Employer, which is an employer allowed by Immigration NZ to hire workers from overseas. You may get a job offer from accredited employers by applying to job openings on job sites in New Zealand, and attending interviews with prospective employers.

Once you secure a valid job offer from an accredited employer, you can apply for your work visa with Immigration NZ.

How will this program with Dunlin help me?

Employers in New Zealand do not usually process work visas and are unlikely to hire you if you do not have an immigration adviser to attain your visa should you get the job. With Dunlin, you can inform prospective employers that you have your own visa filing agent to assist you, reducing the hassle that may have been required to hire you. It is important that the next steps are done quickly to avoid missteps along the way that may result in the cancellation of your work visa.

By working with Dunlin, we will guide you on the following:

  1. Advisory & interpretation of requirements to relocate to New Zealand (Immigration NZ)

  2. Preparation of your professional profile, drafting of CV and cover letter where required

  3. Guidance on Personal Introduction Video

  4. Provision of links to register on NZ job banks & recruitment websites

  5. Guidance on registration of NZ trade certificates and/or licenses

  6. Preparation of visa with Licensed Immigration Adviser (LIA)

  7. Submission of visa application to Immigration NZ (LIA)

  8. Guidance on relocation (personal belongings, temporary accommodation, transport)
